Applied Research of Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption Technology in Remediation of SVOCs Contaminated Site
The Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption technology was tested in a contaminated site in China. The results demonstrated that the thermal desorption technology had excellent removal efficacy for Benzo(a)anthracene,Benzo(a)pyrene,Benzo(b)fluoranthene,Dibenzo(a,h)anthracene and Indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene in soil, with average removal rates of 99.4%,97.6%,99.3%,91.5%and 99.1%respectively.Heating temperature and residence time are the two primary factors influencing the efficiency of thermal desorption.Conducting an orthogonal experiment on both heating temperature and residence time to identify the most suitable thermal desorption process parameters,in order to provide a reference for the application design of thermal desorption technology in actual remediation projects.
