Application and Challenge of Groundwater Permeable Reaction Barrier Remediation Technology Under Green and Low-Carbon Goals
For the remediation of contaminated groundwater,the most widely used technologies in China are Pump-and-Treat and In Situ Chemical Oxidation which have been unable to fully meet the requirements of green and low-carbon remediation.Permeable reactive barrier(PRB)technology has the advantages of sustainable effect,potentials of energy saving and emission reduction,green and low-carbon,in line with the development trend of green sustainable remediation.At present,the application of PRB technology still faces challenges such as accurate characterization of groundwater pollution characteristics and hydrogeologic al conditions,green and long-term reactive materials,and multi-technology combination.
