Abstract
This discussion delves into the practice of chemical wastewater treatment and environmental protection in thermal power plants.Firstly,the sources and quantitative treatment of chemical wastewater were outlined,and the challenges related to treatment were explored,including the characteristics of chemical pollutants and their impact on the environment.Afterwards,the focus was on introducing treatment techniques and methods,including pretreatment techniques and deep treatment processes.In addition,the importance of complying with regulations,adopting advanced technologies,and implementing monitoring and reporting mechanisms was emphasized,which are effective measures for environmental protection in the operation of thermal power plants.
