Determination of Acetaldehyde,Acrolein and Acrylonitrile in Water by Purge Trapping and Gas Chromatography
A purging-catch-gas chromatography method was developed for the determination of acetaldehyde, acrolein and acrylonitrile in water. The purging time, temperature, flow rate and resolution time were optimized. The working curve is drawn under optimized conditions, and the detection limit, accuracy and precision of the method are tested. The results showed that the linear correlation coefficients of acetaldehyde, acrylein and acrylonitrile were all greater than or equal to 0.999 8,the detection limits were 0.003 mg/L,the determination limits were 0.012mg/L,and the recoveries were 88.6%~119%,98.2%~118%,94.2%~119%,respectively.The relative standard deviations were 1.8%~9.6%,1.7%~5.3%and 1.4%~4.7%,respectively.The method has the advantages of simple pre-treatment,good separation effect, low detection limit, high sensitivity, high accuracy, good precision, good linear correlation of target components,no need to use organic solvents, and little harm to environmental pollution and experimental personnel. It can meet the relevant requirements in the"surface water Environmental Quality Standard"(GB 3838-2002)[1]and the"Drinking water Sanitation Standard"(GB 5749-2022)[2],and can be used for the determination of acetaldehyde, alledehyde and acrylonitrile in surface water and drinking water.
