Influence of Ecological Water Diversion on Groundwater Level Changes in the Minqin Basin
Minqin Oasis is an oasis that separates Badain Jaran Desert and Tengger Desert in the lower reaches of Hexi Corridor Shiyang River Basin. It is of great significance for the convergence of the two deserts, and also plays an extraordinary role in the ecological protection of Hexi Corridor. This article was based on the GIS platform and uses data collected by the Smart Water Resource Management Platform of the Shiyang River Basin to analyze the characteristics of annual and interannual changes in groundwater level and the spatial distribution pattern of groundwater depth in the Minqin Basin. The results show that the groundwater level in the Minqin Basin has fluctuated significantly within the past five years, with relatively stable interannual changes and a rebound state, with an average recovery of 0.33 m.Local management departments should continue to plan water resource allocation reasonably to achieve sustainable development of water resources.
