Application of Colorimetric Measurement Based on Image Method in Microbial Detection of Water Quality
In order to more accurately and effectively measure the chromaticity and dissolved matter content of surface water in the Zijiang River,a chromaticity measurement system based on image method is proposed. The measurement system utilizes the designed acquisition equipment and image processing software to obtain the red green blue(RGB)values of surface water sample images, and converts color images from the RGB color space to the hue saturation intensity(HSI)space to separate chromaticity and brightness. The experimental results show that the average deviation and standard deviation of the standard colorimetric solution measured by the spectrophotometry method are greater than those proposed in this paper. The average deviation of the colorimetric measurement by the image method is 7.15%,which is 26.7%lower than that by the spectrophotometry method. In the actual measurement of Zijiang water samples, there was no significant difference between the results of this method and the spectrophotometry, which verified the effectiveness of this method.Based on image based chromaticity measurement, the maximum content is as high as 16.4 mg/L,further indicating that the chloride content in the Zijiang water sample is relatively high. The comparison between the fitted concentration and the standard concentration shows that the average deviations of ammonia nitrogen, phosphate, and chloride are 0.008,0.031,and 0.471,respectively.This colorimetric method can effectively improve the mass fraction of soluble substances in the solution.
