Abstract
Environmental monitoring plays an important role in environmental protection.This article aims to explore the specific role of environmental monitoring in environmental protection and propose strategies for implementing environmental monitoring.Firstly,the definition and significance of environmental monitoring were introduced,emphasizing its importance in addressing environmental issues.Subsequently,the role of environmental monitoring in environmental protection was analyzed,including providing scientific basis for decision-making,assessing environmental impacts,and monitoring environmental quality.Then,some strategies were proposed,including strengthening monitoring technology and capacity building,establishing a sound monitoring network,improving the quality and credibility of monitoring data,and strengthening regulatory and policy support.Finally,the important role of environmental monitoring in environmental protection was summarized,and future development directions were envisioned.
