With the significant changes in residents'lifestyles and the continuous advancement of urbanization processes,water pollution incidents in urban water sources in China have occurred frequently in recent years,severely impacting residents'daily lives and constraining urban development.How to effectively control and protect urban water sources from water pollution has become a hot topic discussed by municipal departments and urban residents.Based on this,this paper aims to explore strategies for controlling and protecting urban water sources from pollution.Starting from the sources and hazards of water pollution in urban water sources,it analyzes the problems existing in the protection of urban water sources and proposes a series of feasible protection strategies through in-depth analysis of water pollution issues in urban water sources,the aim is to effectively alleviate the impact of water source pollution on the urban environment and public health.
