With the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization,sudden water pollution accidents occur frequently,which seriously threaten water environment safety and public health.This study analyzed the current situation of emergency monitoring of sudden water pollution accidents in China,elaborated the existing problems in emergency monitoring,and adopted corresponding countermeasures in time,so as to provide decision-making support for government departments,environmental protection agencies and related enterprises,and jointly improve the prevention,control and response ability of sudden water pollution accidents in China.
