With the intensification of global climate change and energy crisis,improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions have become urgent global issues that need to be solved.As one of the major sources industries of energy consumption and carbon emissions,the sustainable development of the transport sector is particularly critical.By analyzing the theoretical basis of the integrated transport network,this paper clarified the importance of the integrated transport network design in improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions,and emphasized the key role of the integration of different transport modes,the application of intelligent transport systems and the promotion of energy efficient transport vehicles in achieving this goal.The possibility of further reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy,the construction of green infrastructure and the application of carbon capture technology was discussed.
