Mobile Head CT Scanner Aapplication Site Radiation Environment Monitoring and Evaluation
Objective:To monitor and evaluate the radiation effects of mobile head CT scanner on the surrounding environment and the public during normal operation,and to provide scientific basis for radiation safety management.Methods:The environment of a hospital's mobile head CT scanner is monitored,and the monitoring data is evaluated.Results:The ambient radiation dose rate of mobile head CT is obviously higher than the ambient background level,and professional personnel and members of the public will receive certain radiation dose.The radiation dose was significantly reduced after radiation shielding was adopted.Conclusion:During the practical clinical application of a mobile head CT scanner,necessary protective measures should be taken to ensure that the annual effective dose for medical staffand the public complies with relevant requirements,and the radiation protection measures should be optimized to make the exposed dose reach a reasonable low level.
