Online monitoring technology has shown broad application prospects in the field of environmental monitoring due to its real-time and continuous characteristics.In this paper,the principle and method of on-line monitoring are systematically discussed,and its application in the treatment of industrial wastewater,waste gas and solid waste is emphatically analyzed.On-line monitoring technology such as electrochemical method,optical method,chromatography and biosensor method can be effectively applied to the optimization operation of pollution control facilities and pollution accident warning.Online monitoring data provides data support for pollution source tracing and precise control.In the future,the deep integration of new technologies such as smart sensors,the Internet of Things,and big data analysis with online monitoring will further improve the intelligent and refined level of environmental management and provide strong technical support for the construction of ecological civilization.
