Early rural rainwater without effective treatment may bring many hazards to the rural environment,so it is necessary to take corresponding measures and management means to strengthen the rainwater treatment and anti-pollution management,protect the water environment,promote ecological balance and sustainable development.The article analyzes the sources of early rainwater pollution in rural areas from the perspectives of atmospheric pollutants,ground pollutants,and rural sewage inflow;Elaborated on the technical principles of sponge city concept and its application advantages in rural rainwater pollution control;In response to the current situation of rainwater pollution control in rural areas of Chaohu Lake,combined with the concept of"infiltration,retention,storage,purification,utilization,and discharge",pollution control strategies such as improving the utilization rate of rainwater resources,reducing the load of water supply and drainage facilities,and implementing comprehensive sponge measures are proposed,aiming to provide reference suggestions for early rainwater treatment in rural areas.
