The Impact of Carbon Emission Trading on Environmental Impact Assessment and Countermeasures
Carbon emission trading,as a market-based means,has been widely used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote the development of low-carbon economy.However,in fact,the operation also brings a series of environmental impacts,including but not limited to the impact on the atmosphere,water resources,biodiversity and so on.Based on the analysis of the relationship between carbon emission trading and environmental impact assessment,this paper expounds the influencing factors of carbon emission trading on the environment,and puts forward countermeasures.As a market-oriented means,carbon emission trading system promotes enterprises to take emission reduction measures,but there are also problems such as carbon leakage and insufficient supervision.Technology,policy and economic factors have a huge impact on carbon emission trading,and corresponding solutions need to be formulated.To solve these problems,this paper puts forward some countermeasures such as improving policy design,strengthening supervision measures,promoting technological innovation,strengthening public participation,and establishing market system.
