Research on Carbon Emissions from Urban Sewage Treatment Systems in Guangdong Province
The low-carbon transformation of urban sewage treatment helps to achieve the"dual carbon"goal.This study takes the"Technical Guidelines for Collaborative Control of Greenhouse Gas Accounting for Pollutant Removal in Urban Sewage Treatment Plants"(trial)and the"Technical Specifications for Low Carbon Operation Evaluation of Sewage Treatment Plants"as reference frameworks to explore the actual characteristics of plant carbon emissions and analyze corresponding carbon reduction strategies.The research results indicate that the carbon emissions and intensity of the factory have shown a dual upward trend in the past year,with electricity consumption being the main source of carbon emissions.The comprehensive efficiency of energy-saving and emission reduction treatment adopts efficient electromechanical equipment and strengthens load management,establish a demand response mechanism and vigorously explore sustainable new technologies for energy recovery,implement follow-up through a comprehensive response system;by optimizing the operation and management mechanism,establishing a refined regulatory system,considering the optimization of sewage treatment technology,and achieving comprehensive transformation of carbon emissions.
