摘要
马来西亚是海外华文教育最为发达、体系最为完备的华人华侨侨居国。但马来西亚政府对华文教育长期打压，其生存环境颇为恶劣。该国的华文教育能有如今的成就与华人社会的努力支持是密不可分的。尤其是妈祖宫庙对华文教育的鼎力支持，更可谓是一股不可或缺的助力。
Abstract
Chinese education in Malaysia is m ost developed and is of m ost com plete system in the countries w here overseas Chinese dw ells. B ut the Malaysian governm ent constantly suppresses the Chinese education, so its living environm ent quite negative. The efforts and support of overseas Chinese are crucial for the achievem ents in Chinese education in Malaysia. Especially, the Mazu tem ples play an im portant role in the Chinese education. In a word, the support from Mazu tem ples is an indispensable pow er in the history of Chinese education in Malaysia.
