This paper is to examine the thermal degradation behaviour of polyurethane.Specifically,the mechanisms of action of nano-SiO2 and the modification principles of organosilicon are to be analysed.The study also investigates the mod-ification of castor oil polyurethane by organosilicon and silane coupling agent to form a polymer interpenetrating network for polyurethane's high-temperature resistant modification.Furthermore,the paper reviews methods of high-temperature resistant performance of silicone-modified polyurethanes and the current research progress in this area.
