The basic theory of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets is summarized.Four models of variable precision rough interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets based on covering are established by using the defined average membership degree and average non-membership degree.Some related properties of these four models,the relationship with the existing models and the relationship between the four models are discussed.Finally,the four models are analyzed by examples.
