A Stele of the Putian Lin"Family Norms"in the Ming Dynasty and Its Significance in the New Era
This paper investigates the relevant literature records and the general situation of the objects of the stele of the Putian Lin"Family's Norms"during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty,collected by the Sanqing Temple Cultural Relics Protection and Management Institute of Putian City,Fujian Province.The inscription records the norms of the Putian Lin Family.Exploring and discovering related historical materials,chronicles,genealogies and anthologies,confirmsthat the Lin Family was one of the prominent families in Putian at that time.The inscription was written by Lin Jun,a member of the Lin Family,and Lin Da wrote it by hand and carved it into a stele.At the same time,this"Family Norms"stelewas of cultural relics value and calligraphy value,which is also of great significance in cultivating the core values of socialism and guiding the construction of families in the new era.It is a precious stone carving material for the study of ancient Chinese family motto culture.
