It is found that sports intangible cultural heritage is faced with problems such as ineffective implementation of protection policies,the difficulty in inheriting traditional skills,the deterioration of site environment and single innovative activities.The paper explores the relationship between the development of cultural tourism economy and the innovation and protection of sports intangible cultural heritage.Cultural tourism economy can bring significant benefits,promote industrial development,increase employment and economic income,and is also conducive to cultural inheritance and promotion.It is believed that all parties should coordinate to promote the protection innovation and inheritance of sports intangible cultural heritage,and explore feasible innovation and protection strategies to make sports intangible cultural heritage revitalize in modern society.
