New engineering talents are composite talents who can adapt to and meet the needs of emerging industries and new economic development,with stronger practical ability,innovation ability,and international competitiveness."Industrial driving,School-enterprise cooperation,and Integration of industry and education"are the main ways to achieve the goal of cultivating new engineering talents.This article takes it as the starting point,combines with the local and application-oriented practice of Chaohu University,and takes the construction of materials science as an opportunity to explore the construction and practice of a new engineering practice platform for school-enterprise cooperation and deep integration of industry and education.
