In the sixth year of Jiaqing reign of Qing dynasty(1801 AD),on the sixtieth birthday of Huang Jueting,a gentry in Xiabu,Pingxiang,received twelve birthday poems written by famous people at that time,mainly Liu Fenggao,who was born in Pingxiang and ranked second at palace examinations,of which seven were found in the camphorwood longevity screens in Pingxiang Museum and five were included in the Huang family genealogy.Based on historical materials such as cultural relics,genealogies and local chronicles,this paper sorts out Huang Jueting's family history and life,explains the contents and authors of the twelve birthday poems and analyses the reasons for writing them,so as to verify the conclusions from experts.
