Family history is a microcosm of national history,and integrating family history education into the practical teaching of ideological and political ideological and political education represents an effective model for innovating ideological and political education.The practical teaching of family history education connects grand historical narratives with the present through concrete and minute family histories,countering historical nihilism with authenticity.Through practical teaching activities involving visiting,writing,and sharing family histories,students become disseminators and inheritors of both their family histories and the"Four Histories",as well as narrators of good stories about China.Integrating family history education into the practical teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities can not only enhance students'core competencies and strengthen their Marxist beliefs and patriotism but also improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in universities.
