李白诗歌《苏台览古》的英译分析

摘要
本文从专有名词翻译、时态及单复数处理的三个方面入手，对李白诗歌《苏台觅古》的三种英译本进行了对比分析，以期给古诗英译带来一些启示。古诗英译没有统一的标准，译者在英译古诗时既要周密考虑又要灵活处理。
Abstract
This paper offers a comparative analysis of the three translated versions of Li Bai＇ s poem ＂The Ruin of the Wu Palace＂ from three perspectives： the translation of the proper names; the conduct of the tenses and the singular or plural forms of nouns, hoping to give some enlightenment on the translation of Chinese ancient poems. The author holds that translators should be cautious and flexible when handling the translating problems for there are no settled criteria of translating Chinese ancient poems.
