In order to provide theoretical support for Chinese competitive sports professionalism,a deep analysis of the social background of Chinese competitive sports professionalism is made by using literature and other research methods.The essence of Chinese competitive sports professionalism is found to be as follows:progressive reformation oriented at sport events;logic of administrative intervention;and endogenous and complex of mechanism transformation.The risk factors of professionalism are as follows:government and market hampered by each other,conflicts in the reform,low level of matches,backward management and marketing,pursuits of fame and profit in market,and prevailing egoistic;poor youth training system,talent reserve not enough;lack of laws and regulations,difficult supervision and management.A risk dissolution mechanism of Chinese competitive sports professionalism are put forward as follows:simplifying administration and delegating power,breaking administrative barriers,valuing talents,strengthening their own construction,controlling market and promoting benign development,strengthening division and cooperation,improving the echelon system,strengthening supervision and perfecting the legal system.
