Distributive Justice for Digital Labor Based on Marx's Labor Theory of Value
Digital labor remains essentially productive labor in Marx's labor theory of value. Before the platforms developed a certain monopoly position, the surplus value appropriated by the digital capitalists mainly came from the digital laborers under the employment relationship. After the platforms formed a certain monopoly on information resources, the surplus value possessed by the digital capitalists came not only from the digital laborers under the employment relationship, but also from the labor providers who needed to pay honorariums to the platforms, the information providers who produced valuable information, and some of the laborers in the real economy.Distributive justice with relative equality was true distributive justice, and distributive justice of surplus value under digital labor could only be achieved by guaranteeing the labor rights of digital workers, guaranteeing the freedom of the public to access information, improving the ability of social workers to apply information technology, and guaranteeing the ways and means for the disadvantaged groups of the population to access information as well as to apply it.
