Influencing Factors of Intercultural Literacy Development of University English Teachers Based on Grounded Theory
The intercultural literacy of university English teachers is closely related to the achievement of English teaching objective of improving the intercultural communicative competence of university students.Fifteen university English teachers were interviewed and the data were qualitatively analyzed based on grounded theory to reveal the factors influencing university English teachers'intercultural literacy development.The result showed that individual characteristics,internal factors,external factors and service support were important factors influencing English teachers'intercultural literacy development.Accordingly,suggestions were made to change the perceptions,optimize the service system and provide policy support to enhance the intercultural literacy of university English teachers.
