On Evolution,Harmfulness and Correction of Pan-entertainment from the Perspective of Marx's Modernity Criticism
As a social trend of thought with wide influence in recent years,pan-entertainment has a strong practical harm,which is mainly manifested dissipating and impacting the correct ideological and moral concepts.The masses are induced to fall into the trap of entertainment and consumerism.It occupies the public's labor time and free time.People are increasingly addicted to entertainment illusions and information cocoons while giving up efforts.Behind these real-world harms is the force of capitalist modernity.Marx's critique of modernity is a thorough critique of capitalism.From the perspective of Marx's critique of modernity,it can be found that pan-entertainment is rooted in capitalist modernity and is the product of the binding of logic by capital and the alienation of modern science and technology.Correcting pan-entertainment should be based on Marx's critical theory of modernity.We should break the logic of capital,standardize science and technology,resist entertainment opium in reality,insist on replacing the supremacy of capital with the supremacy of the people,supervise the network platform by legal means,and enrich the spiritual world with hard work,so as to achieve the disenchantment of pan-entertainmentism.
