In 2021,Xiamen Bead Embroidery was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage.Xiamen Bead Embroidery originated from maritime trade in the early 20th century.As a product of the development of the Maritime Silk Road,it contains a unique cultural connotation of the Maritime Silk Road.Through the research methods of historical literature research and field investigation,it is explored the influence of the Maritime Silk Road on the traditional intangible cultural heritage handicrafts of southern Fujian from the background of the Maritime Silk Road in Xiamen,foreign trade manufacturing,export of its own brand,and the historical origin and cultural evolution of the Maritime Silk Road.Through the cultural exchange and dissemination of the Maritime Silk Road,Xiamen Bead Embroidery expands innovation channels,achieved diversified integration and development,and promotes the new inheritance and development of Xiamen Bead Embroidery on the New Maritime Silk Road.
