The Influence of Holistic Governance Reform on Teacher Engagement in Higher Vocational Colleges
The overall governance reform of higher vocational colleges is an important force for the adaptability and competitive-ness of vocational colleges, and it is the basis and premise for the high-quality development of vocational education. The reform paradigm integrates the theories of holistic governance and organizational change, aiming to explore a school governance para-digm with integration and success functions from the chaotic and complex context of vocational education governance reform. This reform includes three dimensions:governance structure reform, governance culture reform and governance technology re-form.The three-dimensional measurement model has good reliability and validity. The results show that the overall governance reform in vocational colleges can promote teacher engagement, with the reform of holistic governance technology having the strongest influence on the generation of teacher engagement. The overall governance reform can also promote teachers'engage-ment through the chain mediation of reducing the breakdown of teachers'psychological contracts and stimulating teachers'pro-fessional resilience, and teachers'emotional regulation ability is a boundary condition affecting teacher engagement. In addi-tion to psychological contract factors, the overall governance reform, teachers'resilience, and teachers'emotional regulation ability are all necessary conditions for generating teacher engagement in vocational colleges.Based on the research findings, this study suggests that vocational colleges can enhance the driving force of reform on teacher engagement by constructing a three-dimensional overall governance framework, stimulating teachers'professional resilience during the reform, and leveraging the reform's inhibitory effect on teachers'negative emotions.
