[Purpose/significance]Research data management service is a service that university libraries in China are exploring and promoting under the change of scientific research paradigm.[Method/process]Through field research and network research,this paper combs the research data management service status of university libraries in Colorado of the United States,and analyzes its service mode and characteristics.[Result/conclusion]The common point of the research data management service of university libraries in Colorado of the United States focuses on the improvement of user data literacy.After analyzing the reasons for this feature,combined with the development of research data management service data literacy in domestic universities,this paper puts forward some suggestions in carrying out research data management services for university libraries in China.
