Research on Public Opinion Resonance of Government Response to Major Emergencies and Its Influencing Factors:An Empirical Analysis Based on 442 Major Emergencies in China in Recent Ten Years
[Purpose/significance]The investigation of public opinion resonance of government response to major emergencies and its influencing factors can provide reference for effective prevention and response to major emergencies.[Method/process]In this stud-y,a total of 442 major emergencies in China in the past decade are selected as research samples.And then this study presents the basic situation of major emergencies in the aspects of attributes,propagation,intervention and public opinion resonance of government response through structural analysis,and investigates the factors influencing public opinion resonance of government response to major emergencies through correlation analysis and regression analysis.[Result/conclusion]The public opinion resonance of government response to major emergencies is not optimistic;the occurrence area,type distribution,exposure speed,rumor spread,intervention subject,intervention channel and disposal result of major emergencies have significant influence on the public opinion resonance of government response;the most significant factors influencing the public opinion resonance of government response to major emergencies are,in order of order,whether there is accountability of event disposal result,whether there is intervention through new media platforms,whether there are ob-vious rumors,whether there is intervention by national ministries and commissions,and the event exposure speed.
