Research on the Competency Model Construction of Data-Related Positions for Master of Library and Information Science(MLIS)Based on Data Analysis of Enterprise Recruitment Websites
[Purpose/significance]This paper investigates and analyses the recruitment information of data-related positions in enterprises,and constructs a competency model of data-related positions in enterprises,to provide references for colleges and universi-ties to timely understand the changes in social demand for talents and to set up corresponding talent training programs and curriculum sys-tems.[Method/process]Based on the grounded theory and competency model,this paper uses text analysis method to select 4 first-level indicators,34 second-level indicators and 83 third-level indicators,including ability trait,data trait,business trait and quality trait,and adopts the analytic hierarchy process with inviting experts to assign corresponding weights to each indicator according to its im-portance,to construct a competency model of data-related positions in enterprises.[Result/conclusion]With reference to the compe-tency model of data-related positions in enterprises constructed in this paper,corresponding suggestions are put forward for the education status of Master of Library and Information Science(MLIS):colleges and universities should constantly reflect on their talent training mode,increase the elective courses of data theory,guide students to actively participate in practice,and help students improve their data literacy and various characteristics in light of the enterprises recruitment requirements and social reality.
