Survival Analysis of Social Media False Information Based on Node Roles and Network Characteristics
[Purpose/significance]User interaction is the initial link of false information dissemination, and it is important to un-derstand the node roles and interactive network characteristics for the management of false information.[Method/process]This paper uses cluster analysis and network analysis to describe the role of user nodes in interactive networks, and uses single factor survival analy-sis and Cox survival regression analysis to deconstruct the influence of node roles and network structure characteristics on the survival process of false information.[Result/conclusion]The false information published by users with smaller number of fans and microblogs fails faster, and the number of forwards and comments of false information is negatively correlated with the failure speed. The more in-tense the discussion, the more active the interaction, the greater the probability of false information being identified;user reporting does not necessarily cut off the spread of false information immediately;when influential online celebrities and media accounts participate in the discussion, the possibility of false information dissemination is reduced.
