Research and Enlightenment of the Work System of American Foreign Counterintelligence
[Purpose/significance]Under the international background of increasingly fierce game between great powers,this pa-per summarizes the system of American foreign counterintelligence work and its intrinsic laws,in order to provide targeted suggestions for China's national security intelligence work and counterespionage work.[Method/process]This paper sorts out the open source intelli-gence resources of the United States through the literature research method,clarifies the concept and connotation of American foreign counterintelligence,sorts out the organizational structure,operating mechanism,business means,and task objectives of its foreign coun-terintelligence work,deeply explores the underlying logic of its foreign counterintelligence work mechanism,and evaluates the advantages and defects of its work.[Result/conclusion]In view of the increasing trend of American foreign counterintelligence work,China should constantly improve the system of national security intelligence work,strengthen the counterintelligence work and security and secrecy work,so as to avoid falling into passivity in American foreign intelligence offensive.
