The Application of Generative AI in Intelligence Research:Taking ChatGPT as An Example
[Purpose/significance]The purpose of this paper is to explore the application prospect of generative AI in intelligence research,and to provide reference for the common progress of intelligence research and technology in the new era.[Method/process]Based on the technical principle of ChatGPT,this paper examines the new needs and opportunities of intelligence research under artificial intelligence environment,and discusses the application of ChatGPT in the four stages of intelligence research:demand analysis,data collection,data analysis and result presentation.[Result/conclusion]The outstanding characteristics of ChatGPT"big data,big model and strong computing power"are in line with the new requirements of intelligence research at the three levels of data,algorithm and com-puting power,which respectively endows the four stages of intelligence research with interactive and generative,efficient and accurate,aggregated and intelligent,as well as diversified and scientific characteristic.But,there are different application challenges in each stage,and further research is needed in the future to better meet the needs of intelligence research.
