Research on the Influencing Factors of Social Media Privacy Paradoxes Based on Meta-analytic Structural Equation Model
[Purpose/significance]The phenomenon of privacy paradox in social media platforms has gradually attracted the atten-tion of scholars.By analyzing the literature and reconstructing the theoretical model,this paper discusses the inconsistency of influencing factors of privacy paradox in the existing empirical studies.[Method/process]Using the meta-analysis structural equation model meth-od,first of all,the paper screens the empirical studies related to the privacy paradox of social media platforms at home and abroad,in-cludes 50 pieces of literature,and carries out the heterogeneity test,the publication bias test,the effect value analysis and moderationg variable analysis.Then it carries out the structural equation analysis based on the correlation coefficient matrix.[Result/conclusion]There is a moderating effect on the privacy concern and privacy disclosure of social media users under different genders,sample groups and cultural backgrounds;privacy concern has a significant negative impact on privacy disclosure.Perceived risk,perceived benefit and self-efficacy have a significant impact on privacy concern and privacy disclosure.Trust only has a significant impact on privacy disclo-sure.
