Research on Influencing Factors of Knowledge Hiding Behavior of Respondents in Social Q&A Community
[Purpose/significance]Exploring the motivation of knowledge hiding behavior of respondents in social Q&A community and the relationship between various factors is helpful to guide respondents to reduce their knowledge hiding behavior,shorten the time for questioners to wait for answers,and promote the benign circulation of knowledge,and then provides effective reference for the sus-tainable and healthy development of social Q&A community.[Method/process]Taking Zhihu,a representative social Q&A community in China,as an example,this paper conducts semi-structured interviews with 26 respondents who have experience of knowledge hiding on Zhihu,uses the qualitative analysis method of grounded theory to encode the interview data at three levels,extracts the corresponding concepts and categories,and builds a model of influencing factors of knowledge hiding behavior of respondents in the social question-and-answer community.[Result/conclusion]Individual characteristics,question value,knowledge characteristics,community environ-ment,platform carrier and management system constitute the main factors that affect the knowledge hiding behavior of the respondents in the social Q&A community.
