Comparative Study of Internet Public Opinion Index System, Method and Model
In recent years, as the Internet public opinion events took place very often, researches related to index system of Internet public opinion witnessed a continual increase. However studies of different scholars on the same topic of index system are inconsistent with each other and the overall research got a bit chaotic. This paper, focusing on index design and methods model aspects, reviews, analyzes and concludes the concerned research about Internet public opinion by means of comparative study. It is found that a number of areas are in-volved in the index of Internet public opinion, however some problems still exist such as lacking of process of argumentation, ignoring the overlapping final stage, having great subjectivity in both determining index weights and model construction, and missing complete theoretic framework, therefore, systematic and entire life cycle-oriented Internet public opinion index adopting the unified criteria should be set up.
