[Research purpose]Cognitive ability is increasingly becoming the core driving force for the development of a digital society.From the perspective of a holistic approach to national security,it is necessary to strengthen the theoretical research on cognition security.[Research method]Through methods such as literature analysis,comparative research,and case discussion,we conducted a research on the discourse construction,game situation,risk patterns,and guarantee system of cognition security.[Research conclusion]Cognition security is one of the new forms of non-traditional security in the national security system.Competitive activities surrounding cognition se-curity involve content production,technology control,and channel contention,which reflect intense discourse competition,technological competition,and strategic competition behind.Cognition security risks present specific,transmittable,and purposeful characteristics,which can harm individual rights,social order,and ideological systems.The guarantee system for cognition security should focus on three aspects:value consensus system,local governance system,and international cooperation system.
