Effect of Community Participation of Quantified Self on Health Behavior Change:From the Perspective of Personal Health Information Management
[Research purpose]The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence mechanism of community participation of quantified self on health behavior change from the perspective of PHIM,and further design data presentation methods to explore effects,so as to better guide the implementation of group health management.[Research purpose]ANCOVA and regression analysis, combined with the meth-ods of participant recruitment and controlled experiment, are used to explore and verify the influence mechanism of community participa-tion of quantified self on individual health behavior change, and the influence of different data presentation methods is further analyzed.[Research conclusion]Compared with participants who only obtain time of quantified self(M=2.567,SD=0.891),participants who could fully understand the individuals and others'results data of quantified self have a higher intention to change their health behaviors(M =5.322,SD=0.903).Difference insight has a mediating effect(c'=0.306,P1=0.000<0.01;b=0.148,P=0.026<0.05),that is,community scenarios can trigger the differentiated insight, and make participants'health behavior change intention more obvious.Social comparison has a moderating effect(T=6.209,P=0.000<0.001),that is,when social comparison is included in the data presentation feedback, the participants'difference insight and health behavior change intention are stronger. The study enriches the theoretical research on quantified self to some extent, and has certain reference value for guiding the public to implement personal health information manage-ment from the perspective of community.
