Research on the Current Situation and Development Trend of Misinformative Visualization
[Research purpose]Data visualization is frequently used in today's society.But if the visualization is not designed properly,it will be misleading and cause information security and ethical issues.This paper reviews the research status and development direction of misinformative visualization research at home and abroad,to provide reference and inspiration for future research and visualization critical literacy in this field.[Research method]Through the literature analysis method,this paper summarizes from three aspects:the definition of basic concepts,the current research progress,and the main research directions.[Research conclusion]Domestic research about misin-formative visualization is in an emerging stage,and the theoretical system has not been established.This paper proposes the concept of data visualization information misleading,organizes three specific research directions:current research about deception and misleading methods of visual information misleading,user experience research,and defensive technology research,and prospects future research from concep-tual,cognitive,and application aspects.
