[Research purpose]As one of the military masterpieces in the Ming Dynasty,the book"Toubi Futan"is deeply impacted by"The Art of war",which can be seen from its article structure and parts of core ideas.However,some details of the book show the author's unique angle of thinking and some further interpretation on some content of"The Art of War".In the book,there are some intelligence thoughts similar to intelligence theory of some western countries,to some extent,which can enlighten our intelligence development theory and improve the quality of our intelligence work.[Research method]The thesis deeply analyzes the original text of"Toubi Futan",digs into the underlying meanings,tries to comprehend the author's ideas,and discusses the similarities and differences between"Toubi Futan"and"The Art of War".It then concludes how the book inherited and developed Sun Tzu's intelligence ideas.[Research conclusion]The book"Toubi Futan"has its unique angle of thinking and deep understandings in the concept of intelligence,espionage and intelligence i-deas,which inherits and develops Sun Tzu's intelligence ideas and also made its deep influence in China's ancient military concepts.
