A Framework Analysis of the U.S.Security Strategy Toward China Based on Cluster Analysis
[Research purpose]A historical long-range lens is used to examine the appearance, motivations and basic rules of the U.S.security strategy adjustment toward China in the context of the intertwined cooperation, competition, and confrontation between China and the United States.[Research method]Taking ontological phenomenology as the basis of methodology,we conduct historical and realistic analysis of the U.S.security strategy toward China based on framework analysis, use semantic networks to explore the"perspectival framework"of the strategy, and create a clustered genealogy diagram to restore the"issues framework"of the strategy. And then summa-rize the"cognitive framework"of strategic evolution.[Research conclusion]Based on the construction of the types of frameworks that may exist in a specific era and social context,it can be seen that the future U.S.security strategic issues towards China will tend to be di-versified.Under the guidance of"strategic competition",decoupling and conflict are all likely to occur.
