Research on the Construction of Multi-modal Evidence Ontology Model for Safeguarding Rights in South China Sea
[Research purpose]Within the context of great power competition, safeguarding rights in the South China Sea is important for national security, regional stability, and the economic development of the Asia-Pacific region. The construction of the safeguarding rights evidence ontological model for South China Sea serves as a prerequisite for the development of a comprehensive evidence chain project and system.[Research method]Firstly,we summarized the research status of ontology model construction and ontology attribute labeling.Secondly,we defined the elements of multi-modal evidence for safeguarding rights in the South China Sea based on two models(i.e.,text and picture). Then, the multi-modal evidence ontology model of South China Sea rights protection is constructed by integrating the relation of attribute, logic and proof layers. Finally,a semantic structured representation of the Cairo Declaration is realized to show the a-bility of the proposed ontology model.[Research conclusion]The results show that the multi-modal evidence ontology model is able to represent the multi-dimensional semantics and multi-level relations of multi-modal evidence well, which lays a foundation for the intelli-gent construction of multi-modal evidence chain for South China Sea.
