Study on the Intelligence Thought of"Knowing Victory"in the Military Classics
[Research purpose]As a work written in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties,the Military Classics focuses on the utility of intelligence,inherits and carries forward the idea of"knowing victory"of the predecessors,which is rich in connotation and profound in depth.The study of the Military Classics is of great value in guiding today's intelligence practice.[Research method]We analyze the core of the idea of the Military Classics from the aspects of"knowing"and"preventing from knowing".[Research conclusion]Jiezi constructs the system of"knowing"from the perspective of realism,prophecy and omniscience,and the system of"preventing from knowing"from the perspective of denial and deception,and then builds up the overall framework of"knowing victory".The overall framework of"knowing victory"is profound and still has some significance for today's intelligence practice.
