The Development,Motivation and Influence of NATO Space Strategy
[Research purpose]Space security is an important part of national security.Under the background of increasingly complex sit-uation of great powers'strategic game and international security situation,it is of great significance to systematically analyzing the layout of NATO's space strategy,studying its development direction and impact.It will provide reference for China to assess the changes of interna-tional security situation,maintain space security and promote international cooperation in space governance.[Research method]By means of content analysis,literature research and other methods,this paper systematically combs and deeply investigates the open source intelligence related to NATO's current policy documents and official reports to promote its space strategy,and analyzes the motivation and influence of the formation of NATO's space strategy.[Research conclusion]Guided by the strategic thinking of"great power competi-tion"as its core,NATO is trying to consolidate its superiority in space and to dominate the future international space governance regime.In the short term,the implementation of NATO's space strategy is objectively conducive to promoting NATO's expansion of its security function and enhancing its influence on space issues.However,in the long run,the profound changes in the international power structure and the contradictions between the United States and Europe regarding the development of space strategy within NATO will hinder the ef-fectiveness of the implementation of the strategy.
