The Realistic Dilemma of the United States Cybersecurity Governance System
[Research purpose]In the information age,the stability and development of cyberspace has gone beyond the technical field and has gradually risen to the level of national security.The United States,as the first country to build a national cybersecurity governance system,is worth of an in-depth study.[Research method]Based on the relevant official documents,academic discussions,media re-ports and other textual materials about the United States cybersecurity governance system over the years,this paper builds an analytical framework based on institutional theory and analyzes the realistic dilemmas of the United States cybersecurity governance system.[Re-search conclusion]The characteristics of the system itself,the differences between public and private positions,and the external environ-mental situation together constitute the structural factors that restrict the further development of the United States cybersecurity governance system,and its deep contradictions are still difficult to solve in a short time.
