Evaluation of Biden Administration's National Defense Science and Technology Strategy
[Research purpose]To scientifically analyze the Biden Administration's defence science and technology strategy and provide reference for the development of defence science and technology in China.[Research method]Using textual analysis and other methods,the Biden government's national defence science and technology strategy is examined in depth to analyze its strategic motivation,main con-tent,salient features,potential impacts and real challenges,and to put forward countermeasures accordingly.[Research conclusion]The Biden Administration's strategy of defence science and technology is aimed at shaping a new round of U.S.advantages in the field of de-fence science and technology and defending the U.S.military hegemony by focusing on joint missions,accelerating the transformation of innovations,and consolidating the foundation of research and development.This strategy has the distinctive characteristics of"competi-tion,whole government and asymmetry",which will worsen the international security environment,and in the process of implementing it,it still faces many challenges,such as domestic mobilization,international coordination and talent attraction.In this regard,we need to re-spond to it by promoting high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and strengthening international cooperation,both internally and externally.
