国际主流社交媒体平台涉华议题的传播特征及效果分析

[研究目的]以Twitter、Facebook、TikTok、YouTube及Quora平台上有关中国的发帖为例探讨国际主流社交媒体平台涉华议题的传播特征与传播效果.[研究方法]基于Python爬虫抓取各平台主帖推文数据,调用BERT模型对文本主题、情感进行分析,并通过对应分析、回归分析检验各平台在主题、情感呈现中的交互作用.[研究结论]有关中国"城市旅行美食"的主题在国际社交媒体平台上的发帖比例最大;不同平台之间存在显著的主题和情感倾向性,Twitter平台倾向"军事资源力量"主题和负面情感,TikTok平台倾向"城市旅行美食"主题和正面情感;软性议题和硬性议题均在国际主流社交媒体平台得到广泛关注,但二者却产生了不同的影响力,软性议题收获较高的情感认同,而硬性议题的情感认同度则较低.
Analysis of the Communication Characteristics and Effects of China-Related Issues on International Mainstream Social Media Platforms
[Research purpose]This study aims to explore the communication characteristics and effects of China-ralated issues on inter-national mainstream social media platforms,using posts related to China on Twitter,Facebook,TikTok,YouTube and Quora as illustra-tive examples.[Research method]It utilizes a Python-based web crawler to extract primary posts from various platforms,employs the BERT model to analyze the themes and sentiments within the tweets,and conducts correlational and regression analyses to examine the in-teractive effects of platforms in themes and sentiments presentation.[Research conclusion]The theme of"Urban Travel and Gastrono-my"about China has the highest posting proportion on international social media platforms;significant thematic and emotional tendencies exist between different platforms.Twitter tends to feature theme of"military resource power"with a negative emotional tone,whereas Tik-Tok shows a preference for"urban travel and gastronomy"with a positive emotional tone.Both soft issues and hard issues have received widespread attention on international mainstream social media platforms,but the levels of influence they generate are different.Soft issues garner higher emotional resonance,while hard issues receive lower emotional recognition.
